BE's round by round scoring and breakdown:
Our Referee: Jean Guy Brousseau
Round 1: for Lemieux: Teddy Atlas says Duarte took the fight on 5 days notice. After landing just two solid punches, Duarte takes a knee and gets a count. Duarte takes another knee a few seconds later after a solid right and a few punches barely on the guard. Teddy says this isn't for a competitive match but to make the local fighter shine. Good for you Teddy. Duarte eats another hard right and goes down to a knee again and the ref stops it. Good refereeing and good commentating. This was no big win. It's the way it is, sure but you can't heap that much praise on the man, all things considered. He now moves to 10-0 with an official TKO of Duarte. A short, tomato can fight. I'll at least amend that Duarte clearly has some punching power and loads of experience so, it would have been good for Lemieux if he'd actually been able to go four or five rounds because I doubt he gained anything from this.
